Final Project

Story Line
It is a story of a prince and princess, who are fighting against the evil with a curse upon their head and trying to rebuild their kingdom.
Concept
It is a story of prince and princess. Who were raised as common people in fear of evil curse. A curse, which will end their blood line with seven generations. As they were the seventh generation, they have started their journey to lift that curse and stop the evil.
Back Story
It all started when one man tried to change things. That man has successfully brought a ray of hope to the people against a mighty kingdom that has lasted for centuries implicating fear, sadness and insecurity on the people.
He was cursed that after seven generations of his blood line, the evil will rise again.
But before the prophecy of evil came true all the seven generations of the man fought against the curse of evil. They were trying to find a way to overcome the curse.
They have found out that the royal emblem can lift the curse. When it was created, there was mistake in the creation of the emblem. The royal emblem is the representative of the blood line. Now, the evil has gained a chance from that mistake to end the blood line with the seventh generation.
The solution for fixing the curse lies with the royal emblem, but the problem is when the royal emblem was created there was a mistake. The mistake was that the emblem needs 7 branches, currently only 6 have been made. The 7th branch can be made by uniting some holy ingredients with the help of a pure heart and, the curse can be lifted.
Before the curse of evil come true royal high priest sensing the danger, he took the young prince and princess with him and reached a safe zone. 
The prophecy of evil came true and the kingdom was destroyed completely.
Game Story
The last generation of the royal blood line has a prince and princess. But they were raised as common people fearing the evil. Somehow they get to know the truth and, visited the royal high priest to learn all about themselves and, their ancestors.
The prince and princess have decided to bring together the holy ingredients required for the royal emblem, to lift the curse.
* Game Play
At the starting of the game player will be given an option, he can take one potion of power which gives him extra power. He has been given three potions “STRENGTH”,”AGILITY” and “INTELLIGENCE”. Out of this he can pick one only. According that his character will level up and skills will increase in the game. Depending upon his option, he will face obstacles in the game.
Player can level up to maximum of 25.
Because the character no combat training, there will be a tutorial level in the beginning.
  • Player can not skip the tutorial.
  • After getting level up player will be awarded 3 points and with help of this he has to improve his characteristics and skills.          (Currently working on point system)
  • While leveling up player can upgrade his inventory and amour according to his character.

*Artificial Intelligence
From the starting of the game and up to half of the game player can face enemy easily. Player can predict enemy moves and tactics easily. After player reaching to certain level enemy will become stronger and player will have to rethink the strategy. Enemy will attack the player by checking where he is week.
To overcome this problem, player has to improve his characteristics and skills in other options also after reaching certain level in the game.    
 * Artificial Intelligence may change accordingly.  
Inspiration
The game story is inspired by 10th century “Kakatiya Dynasty” from Andhra Pradesh.
Kakatiya Dynasty was ruled Andhra Pradesh in between the time period of 10th to 13th century A.D. It was mentioned in the history as one of the golden age in south Indian history. It has lasted for nearly 300 years. It was demised during the foreign ruler invasion of India.
There were seven generations in the Kakatiya dynasty.

Kakatiya dynasty was known for their administration, literature, art and architecture. During their period art and architecture were well developed in region. The famous Thousand Pillar Temple and Ramappa temple were build during their period. Kohinoor diamond was found in river banks of Krishna during this period only. The administration and civil services of Kakatiya were so popular in those days. Later those methods were adopted by Great Vijayanagar Emperors
Similarities with the Game story
There is a rumor during Kakatiya Dynasty, that they were cursed, only seven generations of their bloodline will rule the land. These because of the royal emblem. The royal emblem was a golden tree (unknown) and it contained only six branches. Each and every king of the Dynasty tried to put an extra branch but failed. Seventh generation King was the last king of Kakatiya.
There is not much information about the golden tree. There is a rumor that the tree is either Banyan tree or Banana tree. It must be banyan tree because of long life spawn and spreading nature. When it is compared to the kingdom, may be Kakatiya kings wanted that their kingdom would grow as banyan tree and another rumor says that it is a banana tree because, it contains limited number of leafs. It represents the bloodline of Kakatiya.     
This is the only similarity of the real story and game story. Every thing apart from that is fantasy and fictional.
*Game World
As the story starts from prince and princess learned the truth about themselves and heading towards to combat training, the game environment represents the combat training centre.
After finishing the training the main quest of the game starts which is collecting the ingredients for seventh branch of the royal emblem. At this point game environment would be forest area.
*Game world and environment would change according to game play.
Characters
Game story mentions that the prince and princess were raised as a common people in fear of evil. So as first they represent as common people with normal clothing’s and without any armor and weapons with them. After completion of the combat training they will be awarded very basic armor and weapons which they can upgrade by leveling up the character.    
The statistics of the armor and weapon will be represented mathematically only.
